Another Wonderful Week!
The last few days have been quite productive. I'm nice and settled into my spring schedule. Having Tuesday and Friday off is really nice. On Tuesday, I took advantage of the beautiful weather and walked around New York for the afternoon. I love going to school so close to New York City. It offers endless opportunities. Students getting $25 Broadway tickets is nice too! That night, Megan and I went and saw Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical "The Woman in White." Before the show, we went to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen, which is Megan's favorite restaurant. She says it reminds her of home, which is California. Wednesday was a busy day. As soon as I got in from class, I sat down and began my homework. That night was the first meeting of the year for the Student Senate. A lot was accomplished, and it was nice to see all my fellow senators after a whole month off. Right after the Senate Meeting, I ran over to the gym to catch the 2nd half of the men's basketball game then went back to my room to wrap up my homework. Thursday was a usual school day. I went to my morning classes, then to lunch with friends in the cafeteria, then afternoon classes. After my last class, I went to my room to count quarters to do laundry. While my clothes were washing, I read my English assignment. While they were drying, I read my History homework, and answered the accompanying questions. After folding and putting them away, I went to dinner where they were serving, among other things, the best Mac and Cheese I have had in a very long time. That really hit the spot! I miss Mom's home cooking, but it's meals like tonight’s that make me feel at home here.
