Snow!
Well, this weekend sure was eventful. Thursday, I could barely concentrate in class. I had a date that night that I was really looking forward to. That night, we met at 34th and 7th in New York; it was convenient for both of us. Following some catching up, we walked around and talked for a while before settling into dinner at Go Sushi at 51st and 9th. Dinner was delicious, and I enjoyed the company. When dinner commenced, more walking happened. One place we happened past was the Neil Simon Theater, home of, "Hairspray." Knowing they offered student discount for $25, we both looked at each other with the same thought, "Let's Go!" The show was sensational. We even got autographs, what a bonding experience. Then, we strolled back toward Penn Station, where we said our goodbyes and ended a most amazing night. Friday after work, I went to the girls’ basketball game where the Peahens hammered the Purple Eagles of Niagara 76-61. After the game, I relaxed in my room and caught up with some leisure reading. Saturday morning, I went to work then to brunch. After brunch I tuned into ESPN2 to watch the boys basketball game. They played really well, but fell to Loyola. That afternoon, the blizzard came! I love snow, so when it began coming down the way it did I was super excited. Of course, I went out and playing in it. I even sledded down the footbridge, on a cafeteria tray! That was how I spent my Saturday and Sunday. Monday, because of the snow, school was closed. That made me happy! I took it as a mental health day, and simply stayed in the room and caught up on my rest. Now it's Tuesday, and I am looking forward to a super productive week, especially since this is a pay week! That means I can go see "Jersey Boys," and complete my mission of seeing every show on Broadway.
