It's All Over!
Well, its done. Sophomore year is officially done. Looking back, I've had a good run. The year had ups and downs, memories and regrets, but all in all, I am satisfied with the life I live. I saw this quote in someone's away message, and it totally works in my current situation. "Because of my friends I've laughed a little harder, cried a little less, and smiled for no apparent reason. Here's to the nights that turn to mornings and the friends that turn to family." I am so thankful for my friends, they are there for me through thick and thin. Over the past year, I've grown up a considerable amount, I got a job all on my own, doing something I love, and I maintained my good GPA. I'd say I am doing quite well. This picture is of some roommates. Kevin and I used to be roommates, and Zach is my roommate next year.
There have been countless celebrity sightings, in fact Megan and I saw Julia Roberts on Saturday, we waved, and she waved back. Last night, in between the Wicked lottery, which I won! and the show starting, we saw Debra Messing from Will and Grace coming out of Letterman. She is so beautiful, and amazingly nice. Since I made Megan stand with me to wave at Debra, I bought her ice cream to make up for it!

Tonight, after hearing all the hype about Julia Roberts, I broke down and went to see her play. It isn't bad. The critics made it sound like complete garbage, but I thought it was actually really good. After the show, I braved the zoo outside to get pictures and autographs. It is good that I'm young and quick, because I was the first one out of the theater, and there were already hundreds of people waiting for pictures. Luckily the theater has a special designated area for people who attended the evening's performance, so I was face to face to Julia Roberts. We could have kissed, we were so close.
This is a picture of me studying, while making time to talk to Mom!
I am excited for the summer because the school is paying for me to go to a conference in California. I even worked out the travel plan so I can spend time with Megan and my friends Jay and Ashley, who live out there. Jay said he's even take me to Six Flags Magic Mountain! There is so much to look forward to in the coming summer, like teaching and stuff, but I am going to really miss all my friends. In light of the end of the year, I found this quote fitting. "Sometimes people leave you, but no one leaves for good, and no one is alone." I hope everyone has a good summer! :-)
