Earning My Ears!
Well, first thing first. As the title probably already hinted, I got the job with Disney. I was beginning to think I hadn't gotten it because it had been a while since my interviews, but they called yesterday afternoon and offered me the job. I was super excited. I called my Mom with the news, both good and bad. Because of this new job, I won't be home for Thanksgiving, but on the bright side, I have always wanted to go to the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. It has been rumored that Ashley and Gavin (Mary and Bert) will be performing during the parade so it'll be nice to go and support my fellow cast members. This is the official show insignia.

Besides being stressed about Disney, I have been devoting a lot of time to a new up and coming club on campus. I never knew how much work went into founding an organization. Here is a link to the club's page.
Yesterday, Saint Peter's hosted some politicians on campus. Senator Robert Menendez of NJ (graduate of Saint Peter's!) and Senator Charles Schumer of NY were in McIntyre Lounge to give a joint press conference on student aid. I was unable to attend, but those who were there tell me it was very informative. Besides those few things, nothing major is new. However, I did receive my copy of Gov. McGreevey's book as he promised. He even wrote some encouraging words and autographed it. He was such a nice guy.
Studying, reading, working out, working, and eating pretty much occupy all my time. Being busy isn't always a bad thing, I just wish I had more time to spend with my friends. Luckily, I have understanding friends who cherish the little bits of time we do spend together. This week's quote is one I like, but have never found a proper place to squeeze it in. "...cause I'm finally living the life that I dream, it seems I've been waiting forever..."
