Falling Temperatures, Rising Spirits!

Wow, it has gotten cold out lately. Every day, it seems to get colder. Thank God for hats, scarves, and gloves. Life has been picking up steadily recently. Schoolwork has been adding up but not to the point that it is overwhelming, just bearable. I am fortunate enough to have lots of people who give me plenty of reasons to get out and loosen up as to not get stressed out. Last Monday, Saint Peter's played Rider on TV, so of course students came out in force to cheer them on. I, along with some friends, got painted up for the event. Here's a shot of us crazy guys.

Unfortunately the Peacocks were edged out by the Broncos at the last moment, but we all still had a good time cheering and such. There is a game this Friday, and the Cockpit plans to be out in force with the paint once again. This is what I missed out on when I was always at work.

On Saturday, after work in Admissions, I headed into the City because I hadn’t been there in a while. I figured I’d do some sight seeing but when I stopped at the Marquis to escape the cold, my day took a whole new direction. I saw an old friend, and we ended up hanging out all afternoon and catching a show that night. It was nice to get out and we had a lot of catching up to do. I left my camera home, but he's a photography student, so when I get the prints, I’ll be sure to post them. Other than those few things, life has been pretty much about school work and saving money for Spring Break. I'm going to Florida with my sister to see my grandmother. I am super excited! Now its back to studying, I hope you enjoy this weeks quote. I find it quite empowering. "...I believe I have inside of me everything that I need to live a bountiful life. With all the love alive in me, I’ll stand as tall as the tallest tree..."
