Well I have lived here for three years and have never been up the Empire State Building until now. Things have been pretty crazy with mid-terms week this week (eek!), but on the positive side, we had no school yesterday thanks to Columbus Day which was AMAZINGGGGG. I tried to take full advantage of all the extra time off. Saturday my old roommate Megan (who's now an admissions counselor and coordinator of new student relations for the Office of Admission!) and I went to the New York Public Library for me to work on my thesis and her to study for her GREs... Then we came home and went to the Senior Directed One Acts, put on by Argus Eyes (our drama society) to watch my roommate, Peaches, make her acting debut!
Peaches being a crazy person on a date in the One Act!
The Sunday we did some homework then went into the City to pick up a prospective student, Hannah Rose!
Jacob and I at the New York Public Library
Where is Hannah Rose??
Then yesterday I went for a run with Megy, did some studying, then Jacob and I went into the City to go up the Empire State Building! A little scary but actually so fun!
On the elevator!
We made it to the top!
I was a little shaky at the top....
Jacob's hand was a lot steadier...
I made it all the way to the 86th floor!
But I was excited to be going back down....
We were up there!!!!!!
Well, my Senior year is in full swing! I've already had my first test (in psych!) and I'm in the middle of working on my senior thesis. It's a little overwhelming, my adviser wants a chapter a week starting next week....eek! I'm sure I can do it though, and (as nerdy as this sounds), I'm a little excited about writing it. I'm going to be writing about Jerusalem during the Babylonian exile which is super-interesting to me because last summer I studied abroad at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. All that to say, I'm getting really really busy!! I'm also presenting my bioethics research from this summer in a few weeks, plus working in Admissions and as a nanny in the City. Speaking of Admissions, I'm also going to be the new Student Visit Coordinator! So hopefully all of you will be coming to not only take a tour of SPC, but also sit in on a class as well as grab lunch with a current student!! Thats about all for now, I'm sure I have 234902347037 other things I need to run off and do, but hopefully in the course of this year I will get a chance to meet you all!
I can't believe it's finally here.....my SENIOR YEAR. As cliche as it sounds, time has FLOWN by. On one hand, it seems like just yesterday I was starting here as a wide-eyed freshman, while on another hand it feels like I've been here for forever. As much as I never expected it, Jersey City has become a second home to me.
Jersey City
People I love, my second family really, are here. My college experience has become so much more than I ever expected it to be, and I believe that's due in large part to St. Peter's. The people here made my last 3 years so much more an experience than just an education, though that has been amazing as well. And now the first semester of my senior year is in full swing! I love all of my classes: Honors Literature, Psychology, Evololution and Adaptation, Criminalistics and Forensic Science, and Who is Jesus Christ, in addition to writing my Honors Thesis. I'm also working in the Office of Admission, as I have been since I was a freshman, as well as working as a Nanny in the City which has been a really fun experience. The other day when I was walking down Perry St. babysitting, I saw Matthew Broderick! Overall, life is really really good.
Well, after an exciting an eventful few weeks, my summer has really begun!! Since graduation, I have driven across the country on an amazing ten day roadtrip with my roommate, Megan to take her car back to California before she flies out to South Africa (tonight :() to teach for a year. After getting home, I turned around and drove up to San Francisco with my best friend from home, Hollyanne, to see my boyfriend Jacob during his 30 hour layover on his flight home from China. I spent some more time at home, visiting friends and family, then last week my mom and I flew back out to NJ! Mumsy got to meet Jacob (for the first time, eek!) and we got some of my stuff out of storage, spent a few days in NYC and then drove down to DC, where I am now! What am I doing in DC you ask? Well, first of all, I’m staying with nuns at a residence near Catholic University! Despite what you may be thinking, it’s really fun. We have breakfast and dinner together everyday, and it’s pretty neat because the other young women are doing some pretty amazing things! (Interns at the State Dept., African television, NIH, the Pentagon, CNN, etc.) As for me, I’m doing bioethics research at Georgetown University, the first Jesuit college in America! I actually split my time behind Georgetown and the Samueli Institute in Alexandria, Virginia. It’s a really really neat experience, and I’m learning so much. I’m so excited for this opportunity to be doing research and maybe even be published! Well, that’s all for now, I’m going to see my visiting roommates!
It's the end and yet the beginning. I'm actually a SENIOR in college, I can't believe it. When I started blogging about my experience here, I was a freshman, and now I'm a senior and it's almost over!
My roommates (Megan, Evgeniya [Jenny] and Andrea) all graduated today. It was bittersweet in that I'm super proud of them (all given awards in their respective fields) but sad in that they'll all be gone next year. You can see some photos on flickr.
These last few weeks have been great. I stayed on campus this week to help with graduation, which was amazing. Here's a few other highlights of the end....
Jenny's Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion with Megan as her sponsor/Godmother...
Picnics in Hoboken...
Games at Shea....
Tri-Beta (Biology Honor Society) Walk for MS at Liberty State Park....
In the City seeing a filming of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart...
Well Open House is finally over. It was such a BEAUTIFUL day, I can't really remember a nicer Open House in the 5 others that I've worked at or attended as a prospective. My roommate Megan spoke as a graduating senior about her time here at school....It was a great speech but I cried...it's sad to think of all my roommates and best friends moving on :(
Megan and I after her speech....clearly I had just been crying... a lot
Moving on to happier subjects, Spring/Summer is really here! The weather has been AMAZING....my roommates and I have spent many an afternoon lately laying in the grass outside our apt, tanning and doing homework. It's been amazing!
Other than that, its just been work work work because now is crunch time when all my lab reports and term papers and things are due.... :( Well now it's back to work!
Well I'm back to school from Spring Break. My spring break was good but not real exciting. I went home for Easter to see my family in California, so that was good. I came back early to study for my MCATs which was boring but necessary. I took my MCATs last Saturday so I'm glad those are over. Then Sunday my roommate Evgeniya (Jenny) was baptized at the St. Peter's Chapel. It was really really nice and so great to be a part of and for her to share with the whole SPC community. We had 20+ people over at our apt for her.
Now, we're back at school and trying to get back in the groove. This last Thursday the weather was AMAZING so my boyfriend Jacob and I went to Hoboken for a picnic on the waterfront! It was so fun. Then Friday night we went to the Mets-Brewers game which was really exciting. I've been to a few Yankee games in my time at SPC, but not a Mets game yet, so that was fun! Saturday I studied all day and Sunday morning I woke up early for a walk to benefit MS at Liberty State Park with Beta Beta Beta the Biology Honor Society. Yesterday my roommates and I went to a taping of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart and tonight we're going to the Passover Seder on campus then to the Nets game. It's been an exciting week!!! Then Saturday is Open House!
Spring Break is almost here! I can't believe the semester is already halfway over, it seems to have just flown by!! Tomorrow I fly back to California for Easter, I'm so excited!
Things have been good just so so busy with classes and events and...life! This weekend was our Campus Experience/Scholarship Brunch. We had kids from all over, even another girl from CA come to see what its like to be an SPC student! We went on a dinner cruise circling Manhattan Friday night, then gave tours and presentations Saturday to show prospectives more about the school. It was great to have so many students so interesting in coming to SPC!
Jacob and I on the Dinner Cruise =)
Speaking on the Panel at Scholarship Brunch
Campus Experience always reminds me of 3 short years ago when I was a wide-eyed senior in high school and came to visit SPC, unsure of what was to come. At the time St. Peter's wasn't necessarily my first choice, but if I had known then what I know now, it certainly would have been. I've learned more than I ever expected, made friends that will last a lifetime and memories that are irreplaceable. Knowing that now, I know I never would have been nearly as happy anywhere else.
Well, things have been exciting here at SPC. The other night we had the Evening of International Song and Dance where we were served food from around the globe, after which members of the SPC community did traditional dances each from their own culture! It was so fun to watch and my roommate, Megan, was even one of the MCs!! All in all it was a great night, enjoyed by all =)
Here are some video highlights:
Wow, it has been so long since I blogged!!!! Things are going really well. I spent my Christmas vacation at home in California with all my family and friends from home so that was really fun and a nice break from the rigors of school.
Christmas with my family on the beach!!!
I even got to see my roommate, Megan (who also lives in CA) and my other roommate Evgeniya (Jenny) also flew out to CA to visit us for her birthday, so that was really fun. We, of course, enjoyed our fair share of In-N-Out Burger.
Megy and I with our In-N-Out!
Since I've been back, things have been really busy. This semester I'm taking General Physics II, Organic Chemistry II, Genetics, Survey of the New Testament, Honors Thesis: Methods of Research plus an MCAT prep course. It's kind of a crazy schedule but thats what happens when you're pre-med and double majoring in Biology and Theology and writing your honors thesis....
I still have time to do fun things though too. Last week was Restaurant Week in NYC so there were lots of restaurant specials going on and my roommates and I went to eat at Tavern on the Green in Central Park!!! It was SO fun and such a unique opportunity to be able to take advantage of.
My roommates and I getting ready to go out to Tavern on the Green!!!
It's also been fun because I've had a lot of friends visiting me lately...I guess they're realizing how much fun it is to live so close to New York City!!
Megan and I on the PATH taking my best friend Brett into NYC!!
My best friend Hollyanne and I "studying" at a Starbucks in the City when she came to visit me!
Going out with Holl and my roommates during her visit here...
All in all, its been a great few weeks of being back!! And now I have to go study for my genetics test tomorrow..
Well, this semester has just FLOWN by... I can't believe it's almost over!!!!
I have been busy, as usual, with classes, studying, friends, and going into the City. Plus I flew home for Thanksgiving, which was amazing!! But since I've come back, things have been even crazier than usual!
This weekend my roommates and I went to the City to study and see the tree at Rockefeller Center. It was really fun!!! We saw the tree and studied at the New York Public Library..
Megan and Jenny and I at Starbucks in the City!!
Megan and I in front of the Rockefeller Tree!
My roommates and I!!!
All in all things are going great but so so so busy!!!
Yesterday my old roommate and I were talking about our lives as freshman and how much fun we had. We would go out to NYC every weekend, at least. But now, two years later, we're both so busy with schoolwork and all the things we're involved in, any nights out require some serious planning ahead!!
Despite the absolute crazy-busyness that is my life, things are going really well, and I've managed to have some really fun times these past few weeks...For example:
Halloween: My roommates, my lab partner, and I all went into the Village for the Halloween Parade!!! My lab partner and I dressed up as doctors (which I guess isn't really dressing up considering that's what we want to do!), two of my roommates dressed up as twins, and my other roommate dressed up as an sad 80s fashionista....
Joe and I as doctors on the PATH
My roommates and I in the City!
Then, last weekend, one of my good friends from St. Peter's who graduated got married!! I flew out to Nebraska where she's from and she and her now-husband live and work to be a part of the wedding! It was so beautiful and so much fun and another great example of what amazing friends I have made while here at SPC.
Cassie (the bride) and I at her wedding =)
Last week was filled with homework assignments and things to do. It seems like all my professors want to get some big assignments in before Thanksgiving break... Between Physics, Ecology, Organic Chemistry, Current Issues in Bio, History of Jerusalem, and my Kaplan MCAT prep course, I've been pretty bogged down! So this past weekend, I went to the city to study all day before I came home to help my roommates Megan and Jenny get ready for a military ball they were going to!!
Helping Megan get ready for the Ball...
Besides all my thrilling studying and getting my roommates ready for the ball, my life has primarily been homework!! But this weekend, my roommates and I are going down to Philadelphia to run an 8K, then next week is home for Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!! :-D
Wow, I haven't written in awhile!! Last week was midterms week, so I guess prepping for, and recovering from midterms would be my excuse for the much-delayed entry.
So, what's been going on with me?
A few weeks ago, I went apple-picking with my roommate, Megan and some other friends. That was lots of fun, though we were almost sick afterwards from all the apples we ate....
Megan and I picking apples!!
We're very ready for fall!
Then, 2 weeks ago was the inauguration of our new President, Dr. Eugene Cormacchia! We had a ball (literally and figuratively) as well as an Inaugural Mass, Ceremony, and Reception. It was really neat to be a part of the installation of our newest (and only non-Jesuit) president, as well as lots of fun!!
The Inaugural Ball.
My roommates at the Inauguration Reception.
This weekend one of my friends that I met when I was studying abroad in Israel came to visit, and we spent the weekend touring NYC!!
Amanda and I in Times Square.
All in all, it has been a good, but busy and stressful few weeks. But Wednesday is Halloween so that should be a lot of fun because my roommates and I are going to the parade in the Village, and this weekend I am flying to Nebraska for the wedding of one of my best friends who used to go to SPC!!
It has been another great week for me. The weather is beautiful, and I've had a lot of fun. Oh, and classes are going well too!
Wednesday was our volunteer fair. I sat at table with my friend Ben from church to encourage SPC students to help tutor at an after-school program we have that I volunteered at last semester. A lot of students signed up to become involved so that was really encouraging and exciting! On Wednesday, my Organic Chemistry lab was also canceled, so I took advantage of the time off and went into NYC. I walked all around, up Park, through Central Park, then back down 5th Ave to the NYC Public Library to do some research for my research paper and honors thesis.
The next fun (and probably most exciting) part of my week came on Friday. At 4 am to be exact. My roommate Megan and I woke up at 4 to get to NYC to see BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN on the TODAY show!!! It was SOOOO much fun. Megan and I were actually interviewed on the local NYC news pre-Today show at like 6:45am where we pretty much were just like, yeah, we love Bruce, HI MOM HI MOM HI MOM. And we got to see THE BOSS perform!! It was so much fun! Definitely a unique NYC experience!
Waiting for THE BOSS.
Megan and I at the TODAY show!!
After the excitement of Friday, the rest of the weekend was pretty relaxed. Friday night I went to Sukkot Shabbat services at Temple Beth Am in Bayonne with my theology class, Saturday Megan and I went shopping then I went to a movie night at my church, and Sunday was just church and homework.
Well I'm getting back in the groove again. Fall is finally here, the weather in Jersey City has been beautiful (despite a few showers this weekend), and my first two tests are over and done with! Having Organic Chem and Ecology tests on the same day is a killer to be sure, but thankfully they are all done now. Thursday afternoon, as a celebration after the completion of my two tests, my roommate Megan and I went into the City to meet a friend for the San Genarro festival in Little Italy, a great tradition for a lot of St. Peter's students.
Eating fried Oreos at San Genarro
After the intense week of studying, I spent most the weekend relaxing with my roommates. Friday night was the Peacock Variety show (always super funny) then Saturday was Fall Fest which consisted of Breakfast with President Cornacchia and the rest of the "first family" followed by a carnival of sorts and a BBQ and music by some student bands which was really great. Sunday my roommates and I went to the city with a team from SPC for the "Out of the Darkness" suicide awareness/prevention walk in the City.
My roommates and I before the walk.
All in all, it was a very fun-filled weekend and a nice break from the rigors of class all week.
I can’t believe that my summer is finally over! It ended with a bang for me, my mom and I drove across the country, all the way from my home in California to SPC in New Jersey!!! It took us almost a week and a half (with a lot of stops). We had a great time, stopping in Nevada, Arizona (and the Grand Canyon!), New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, then finally, New Jersey (with a few visits to New York City too)!!!
My mom and I at the Grand Canyon!
Visiting some best friends in Omaha, Nebraska!
At the Omaha Zoo!!
In Chicago!
Visiting a friend from SPC in Ohio!
Finally in NYC!!
All in all, it was a really fun trip. And now, I’m back at school. It’s nice to be back and be with my roommates. Classes are good, though they occupy a lot of my time since I’m taking Physics + Lab, Organic Chemistry + Lab, Ecology + Lab, Current Issues in Biology, and a class on Jerusalem which is especially interesting considering I spent 5 weeks of my summer there. And, of course, I’ve been taking full advantage of the City…visiting as much as possible while the weather’s so nice!! Last weekend I went to the Brazilian festival, Bryant Park, the UN, NYU Medical Center, plus tons of other places when my mom was here! I hope it’s the start to another great year.
Well, after over 5 weeks studying abroad, I am finally home. Studying abroad in Israel was one of the most amazing things I have ever done!!! I have hardly been home and I miss it already!!! In addition to what I wrote about in all the previous entries, we got to go to an Israeli Baseball Game, went to see "The Transformers" (again), went to Yad Vashem (the Holocaust memorial), walked the Via Dolorosa (the original stations of the Cross) with some Franciscan friars, visit the Temple Mount, and go on class fieldtrips to the Old City of Jerusalem, Masada, En Gedi, the Dead Sea, and Qumran (where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found). After classes, I stayed in Israel for a few days, and traveled around with some of the friends I made. We went north to Haifa, Tiberius (on the Sea of Galilee), Nazareth, and Tel Aviv. All in all it was an absolutely AMAZING experience that I wouldn't trade for the world. And I never would've gotten to go if it wasn't for the personal attention of professors and faculty at St. Peter's!
An Israeli Baseball League game! Probably the only field in the world where a homerun ball could land in the middle of a 3000 year old settlement.
An Israeli Movie Theatre! Complete with assigned seats and an intermission!

This weekend I got to go to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World!!!! (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/main.jhtml?xml=/travel/2007/07/09/etsevenwonders109.xml). A group of seven of us took a bus down to Eilat, the southernmost point in Israel touching the Red Sea. (http://www.inisrael.com/tour/eilat/index.html). We spent the night there, then got up and went to PETRA!! It was so much fun! We hiked, saw the Treasury (where Indiana Jones was in "The Last Crusade"), rode horses AND I got to ride a camel!!!
In front of the Treasury!
Obviously, me on a camel!
The next day, we got up and went snorkeling in the Red Sea before our bus trip home! All in all, it was a really fun weekend!
Yesterday was a class field trip to the Old City of Jerusalem. It's so amazing to be able to go and see places that are mentioned 3000 years ago.... We went through Hezekiah's Tunnel, an active archaeological dig, saw this huge model of the city in Jesus' day AND saw the Dead Sea Scrolls....
I'm having so much fun here! I don't want to have to leave at the end of the month :-(
Sorry I haven't written in so long; things have been really crazy around here. Classes are still going really well. My "Books of the Bible" class is interesting but similar to other classes I've taken before. I'm not really learning any new information but more a new perspective. It's really interesting. My "Role of the Bible in Early Judaism and Christianity" is fascinating. We're learning a lot about the Misna and the Midrash and all these rabbinical commentaries and their take on the Bible. Both classes are great though. These past few days have been so busy. Fourth of July we all went to American place for a BBQ which was fun, but definitely not the same. Thursday morning I had to wake up at 4:30am for our 5am field trip. We started at the Biblical Land Reserve at Ne'ot Qeddumim where we herded sheep and goats, learned about the role of wells and marriages (Issac and Rebekah, Jacob and Rachel, Moses and Zipporah.....), the biblical farming seasons, and how threashing is done and more about Ruth and Boaz, from a harvest timing perspective.... It was early, but all really cool. After that, we went to Gezer (see I Kings 9) and picninced and I stood where Solomon stood! There was an active acheological dig going on their too which was cool. After that, we went to a gas station looking over the Valley of Elah where David fought Goliath (I Samuel 17)!!! We even got to go down to the valley and I took the stone that David killed Goliath with! There was even Philistine blood on it! =) After that we went to Lachish a biblical city sieged by the Assyrians (Isaiah 36). After that I came home and went to bed because I had to wake up at 2am the next morning! The Office of Student Activites put on a trip where we left at 2:30am, slept on the bus (kindof) and then climbed up to Masada, a huge hill/fort in the middle of the desert. It was really cool! From there, we swam in the Dead Sea!! It was really mineraly and painful but totally cool. I can't believe I was at this place that I've heard about my whole life! After the Sea, we hiked and swam in the springs of En Gedi, and drove home. I showered and took a little nap, then me and some of the boys all went to Tel Aviv! All in all, it was 24 hours of tons of fun! After all those adventures, today was a day of relaxing and catching up on my sleep! Though tonight we did go to Domino's and had OSTRICH pizza which was.....an experience. And now it's back to classes and perhaps my friend Mike and I are going to Mt. Sinai on Monday!
I love studying abroad!!!
Ben and I going through Hezekiah's water tunnel (a 45 minute Cave hike/exploration in a foot of water). SO fun!!
Sorry it's taken me so long to blog, but I've been busy! Traveling around, going to class, making new friends, exploring the Old City..... It's been one of the greatest experiences of my life thus far! I would strongly suggest that everyone try to study abroad at some point in their college experience! Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy:
This is me in front of the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wall!!
Me and some of my new friends, getting lunch after a day of touring the Old City!

And finally,

I'm having such a great time! My classes are amazing, I'm learning so much. And Thursday is our first field trip!!!! So exciting!!!!
Hello all!!! Sorry I haven’t been able to blog in a few days but my internet connection here is really sketchy… I am having a great time!!! I LOVE studying abroad; in some ways I even wish I was staying all next semester too, but I think I would miss everyone at SPC too much! Hebrew University is great though, I feel like I’m getting a totally different perspective on so many things than I would’ve gotten from the US, which obviously is the point of studying abroad in the first place.
We flew in on Tuesday and on Wednesday we started classes. I am in the Rothberg International School “Summer Institute for the Study of the World of the Bible. I love it!! My first class is on the Books of the (Hebrew) Bible and my prof keeps pointing out the window at the Judean Hills and things that happened there. I can’t believe I’m here in Jerusalem, where I’ve read about my whole life! My other class is on The Bible in Early Judaism and Christianity which is also super interesting. This week we’ve also gotten to do some sightseeing which as been great! The other night we went out to Ben Yehuda Street (the “Times Square of Jerusalem, as my Jewish friend calls it). Then yesterday me and two of my new friends here went to the Old City. We started at the Jaffa Gate, walked to the Western Wall, prayed, ate FALAFEL (amazing!), then walked through the Muslim Quarter to part of Via Dolorosa and the Pools of Bethesda. This morning a few of us got up and went to a Christian church here. It was quite an adventure trying to help my Arab cab driver navigate to a place he had never been with his limited English and my non-existent Hebrew! All in all I am having an AMAZING time and learning so much!!! Shalom Shabbat everyone!
Well, after a month-long blogging sabbatical, I am back! Except that now, I am no longer in New Jersey, but in the Holy Land! I'm a studying abroad for a month at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. It is amazing! We only arrived yesterday and started classes today but thus far I am loving it! I am at the Summer Institute for the Study of the World of the Bible, and in addition to information in the classroom, we also do a lot of extracurricular field trips that I am super excited about! More to come later, I have to go to class now!!!! =)
I can't believe that half my college experience is OVER!!! Two years, finished.
Recently, someone asked me if I was glad that I had chosen St. Peter's over UCLA, Loyola Chicago, Emory University and the 20+ other colleges and universities across the US that I applied and was accepted to. My answer was an adamant yes!. St. Peter's has afforded me an education, opportunities, and friends I never would have had or made at any of the aforementioned colleges and universities, as prestigious as they may be.
My professors know and care about me, which is something that can't be said for many pre-med programs in the US. Moreover, in addition to just an amazing science education that I receive as a Biology major, our Catholic and Jesuit identity, in combination with my Theology major allow me to further interests outside medicine.
It is because of this that I am going to be spending nearly 5 weeks this summer studying at Hebrew University's Rothberg International School in Jerusalem. I will be at the Summer Institute for the Study of the World of the Bible, and hopefully continuing my blog from there. Had it not been for St. Peter's and my professors here, I would never have even thought to have applied for the program, let alone been accepted AND convinced my parents to let me go.
Following that, in August, I may be at Georgetown studying Stem Cell Research and the bioethics involved. That opportunity came through an SPC alum who works at Georgetown.
So am I glad I chose to come to St. Peters? Absolutely.
Oh my goodness, what a great few days we've been having here! In comparison to the Nor'easter that was hitting us last week, the weather has been AMAZING. Friday night, I went into the city to meet my roommate and her best friend in the City for dinner. We went to the Pasta Presto Grill, in the Village, and I saw Randy Jackson!! Saturday was our big open house here at the college, so I worked all day giving tours to families and talking to prospective students. The weather was just so amazing!!
My roommates and I in full Pavo gear at Open House!
After listening to fellow Pavo and blogger, Peaches' speech about taking advantage of the City, my roommate Megan I decided to go to Union Square "to study". Well that definitely DIDN'T happen. It was just so beautiful, we walked around and shopped at the open air farmer's market there.
Megan and I in Union Square!
Saturday night we all went to closing night of the musical, Godspell, put on by our student drama society, Argus Eyes. It was SOOOOO good!!! Later on, I went on a late night trip to our local diner, the VIP with my friend Tom. I love the unique experiences of college life!! The next morning I woke up and went to church with my friend Chris, then back to the city with Megan. This time we were really gonna study!!! Except it was so beautiful in Battery Park looking out at Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, and the sun was so warm, I ended up falling asleep........ Oops.
All in all it was a great weekend in the city!! I hope you all came and enjoyed open house!
