Last week and this week (thus far...)
I've been super busy this week (thus far) and last week, but I'll try to give a quick rundown of what I've been up to.
Yesterday (Tuesday) I had a crazy-busy day, work at 9, Bio at 11, Latin at 12:30, started my wash and went to work out at 2, changed my wash and got in the shower at 3, get ready and took my wash out before the LEAD (Emerging Leaders) Kickoff Dinner at 4:30. After that I had a Pavo Society (Student Ambassadors) meeting at 6, then I went to my church to babysit the children of people in the ESL classes we offer. I came back to my dorm to do all my folding/ironing and watch tv with a couple of friends. Finally, I worked on homework before I crashed into bed at about 1:30.
Monday I had classes from 9-12 (History, Theology, and Calculus), then an Honors Club meeting at 12:30, and my biology lab at 1. After that, I worked out, showered, and went to dinner with all my friends, then came home to work on homework and went to bed early.
This weekend was fun (though somewhat long).
Sunday was good. I went to church at 11, stopped by Rite Aid to get some stuff, then came back to work on homework and go to dinner, and my roommate and I went down the hill to the senior apartments for a Super Bowl party. We didn't stay to long, then came back up to our room to hang out with our friends up the hill and finish watching the game. I was up late finishing a history paper, which seems to be my regular Sunday night routine.
Saturday was killer. I worked from 8:30-12 at "Sneak Peek", giving tours and stuff, then from 12-7 I was at this "Emerging Leaders" conference. After that I got to go to the basketball game, which was really fun 1, becasue all the boys int he "Cock Pit" took off their shirts and painted thier chests, 2, it was broadcast on tv, and we could see what was being broadcast right in front of us, (my friend Geoff even called to say he say me, well, saw my hair and my ribbon, on tv..) , and 3, we won! After the game, I just went to bed.
Friday started out as a rainy, dreary day, but by the time latin let out at 2, the clouds had parted and the sun had come out. It was one of the prettiest days since I've been here, so i decided to run the 2.5 miles down the street by my dorm down th the waterfront. It was SO beautiful...gosh i love looking out at the City on days like that. I called my family and friends as I walked along the waterfront, then ran on to the Pavonia/Newprt PATH station, and took the PATH train back to school. When I got back I showered and got ready and jackie and chelsea and I decided to go into the City, so we went into the Village for Chipotle. it was super yummy and really fun. Defintiely a GREAT Friday...
Thursday was just a regular day with nothing too exciting to report.
Wednesday night we went to my friend Geoff's apt down the hill to make M&Ms pancakes (they didn't have any chocolate chips...). That was fun.
All in all, this past week (and beyond) has been extremely busy, but for the most part, quite good....
