So, rather than a play-by-play of my ENTIRE week, let me give you the biggies:
Thursday afternoon Chelsea and I ran to the boys's baseball game, then got a ride back, got ready, and that night we went to Scholarship Dinner with a bunch of our sophomore friends (Andrea, Megan, Kevin, Priscilla..). It was really nice; we got to meet a lot of the people who had given money for our scholarships.
Friday I had class, then Chels and I ran down to the waterfront, then she took the PATH back and I walked along the waterfront and went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Shop Rite. That night everybody when out to eat, but I stayed in to do 5 loads of laundry and have a movie night with myself...good times. I called my mom, who had my niece and nephew over and was doing their wash....I wish she had been doing mine too!
Saturday was an intense day. I worked from 8-2 at the Scholarship Brunch, which was long, but fun. I directed people, spoke on the panel, and gave a tour. After all that, I went with Chelsea and Jackie and a bunch of the softball girls to the boys' baseball game, where we got to meet Brett's mom and the boys won, breaking the tie with a hit from our good friend, 'Crazy Nik'. It was a GREAT game.. After the game, we went with Brett's mom to the store, and then came back to the dorms to relax and do homework and go to bed.
Yesterday I got up and went to church, then came back and went to the caf, then to the library, then back to the caf, then back to go hang out with everyone downstairs and watch "Jarhead". We went to Mass, then afterwards, finished "Jarhead" and worked on homework and went to bed.
I woke up this morning at 5:00, not purposely, I guess I just couldn't sleep because I knew I still had a paper to write. So I got up, wrote the paper, cleaned my room a bit, and decided to go bad to bed. By this time it was only a little after 6, and though I planned to go to bed, I was awake enough, I might as well get up rather then going to bed and sleeping through my next 2 classes. So I got up and went for a run down Montgomery to the waterfront, saw all the bustling buisnessmen and women heading to the City, then hopped on the bus and went back to school. I showered, got ready, went to breakfast, and now I have History, Theology, then Calculus, meeting with my LEAD Mentor (who actually works in personal development, so that should be good), Bio Lab, then taking the bus down to a bookstore that I found online to buy a Bible for Brett, then dinner, perhaps a nap, and then a D-Block Intermural Basketball game.
I think it's gonna be a great day. =)
