Spring Break
So, sorry I haven't updated in a while, but it's been Spring Break and I had no internet access! My Spring Break was really good, the first Saturday night (after Jackie flew down to Florida with the softball team for a tournament), Chelsea and Brett and I went into the City to walk around the Village and get dinner at Chipotle, and we even met one of Brett's best friends from home who now goes to NYU at a Starbucks in the Village, so that was really fun.
Sunday, Chels and Brett and I all got up early and made the trek to Journal Square, where we caught the PATH into Newark, said goodbye to Brett who was taking the train to his home in New Hampshire, and Chelsea and I took the train to Newark airport, and flew off! She was heading to her home outside of Cleveland, Ohio, while I was flying down to Lousiana and meet a group from my church to help clean up. It was a great trip. I was so glad that I got to go down and help; especially considering it was so much worse than I had ever thought or imagined... So, though my Spring Break was busy (breakfast at 6:30, work all day, dinner at 6:30), it was also extremely fulfilling, especailly when the older man we were helping nearly cried when we left and told us that he would "never forget us"....So it was a really good, fulfilling break. Saturday I flew back and met Chels at the airport and we came back to school to start the routine again...
All in all, it was a great Spring Break...
