{The End}

I can't believe that half my college experience is OVER!!! Two years, finished.

Recently, someone asked me if I was glad that I had chosen St. Peter's over UCLA, Loyola Chicago, Emory University and the 20+ other colleges and universities across the US that I applied and was accepted to. My answer was an adamant yes!. St. Peter's has afforded me an education, opportunities, and friends I never would have had or made at any of the aforementioned colleges and universities, as prestigious as they may be.

My professors know and care about me, which is something that can't be said for many pre-med programs in the US. Moreover, in addition to just an amazing science education that I receive as a Biology major, our Catholic and Jesuit identity, in combination with my Theology major allow me to further interests outside medicine.

It is because of this that I am going to be spending nearly 5 weeks this summer studying at Hebrew University's Rothberg International School in Jerusalem. I will be at the Summer Institute for the Study of the World of the Bible, and hopefully continuing my blog from there. Had it not been for St. Peter's and my professors here, I would never have even thought to have applied for the program, let alone been accepted AND convinced my parents to let me go.

Following that, in August, I may be at Georgetown studying Stem Cell Research and the bioethics involved. That opportunity came through an SPC alum who works at Georgetown.

So am I glad I chose to come to St. Peters? Absolutely.
