One of the requirements of the Communication major is to do a big scary final project in your senior year to show off what you've learned. This is called the senior Capstone. This past Thursday morning we presented our final projects (that we'd been working on all semester) to the faculty and other Comm seniors. Then we had a big brunchy-reception thing to celebrate that our projects were finished and no one had gotten any sleep in a week. Here are some pics of the happy event so that you may all gaze on the accomplished and sleepy faces.

My last final was a paper for my Popular Culture in Early Modern England class. I turned it in today, so I'm officially done with undergrad! It feels really weird. Graduation is this Saturday. I'm really excited about my parents coming and everything, but also really sad to say goodbye to all my friends here. I don't want to think about it right now, so I'll just go back to enjoying my week of freedom before graduation.

*snif*

I'm getting a little sad. Today was the last day of classes of my undergraduate career. It's very weird. It was also my last day of Newswave. At least half of all the people who work on Newswave are seniors, so it was a slightly emotional last broadcast. But I know all the people who are taking over will be great!!! Good luck you guys!

The Communication Department has a special luncheon for all the Comm seniors. They handed out awards and made speeches and it was very nice. I forgot to take my camera to either of these events, because I'm a moron, but hopefully I can snag pics from someone else.

Also, I picked up my cap and gown today!!! Ahhh!!!
