neglected news!
and now for some exciting new developments that i've neglected to mention:
#1 i am in Dog Sees God by Bert V. Royal and directed by Roberto Prestigicaomo.
You should come see it.
It is a one-act play about the Peanuts characters struggling through the agonizing and socially tumultuous time between the 8th grade and college - experts often refer to this four year time span as "high school." But be forewarned this play is not for young audiences; nonetheless, the script is wonderful and draws attention to some disturbing undercurrents in the today's society.
dates for the performances:
October 3-4 at 8:00pm
October 5 at 2:30pm
October 8-9 at 7:00pm
October 10-11 at 8:00pm
Call Trinity’s box office (210.999-8511), and reserve your tickets today!
and if you call in the next two seconds we'll give you a brand new, top-of-the-line, free-of-charge...oh time's up. never mind.
#2 i am cast in Raise the Stakes.
we started filming last weekend and it went swimmingly. Brendan, our director/DP/writer/producer extraordinaire, said the footage was good.
YOU: what is Raise the Stakes?
ME: well, it's only the latest comedy about Vampires, and, in my expert opinion, every actress needs a vampire comedy on her resume.
YOU: i've never seen a vampire comedy, could you please explain?
ME: i'll handle this question with an arbitrary, yet entertaining example from youtube:
YOU: i see.
#3 i auditioned for and was subsequently cast in the National Comedy Theatre! we're a family friendly improv. group that has two troupes: one in Austin and the other here in San Antonio. We play at the Overtime theatre here in San Antonio on Friday nights at 7:30 pm starting in October.
here. wipe that quizzical look off your face and check out the NCT website.
