Busy Weekend

This past weekend was insanely busy. Friday night was Relay for Life. The turn out was really good; the entire floor was covered in blankets and pillows. There were contests and games going all night long in both the gym and the Hang. SHAC sponsored a Wii Tennis Tournament and in the gym there were best costume contests and who can build the best team pyramind competitions. Relay started at 6 pm Friday night and went all the way until 6 am Saturday morning. I walked for about six hours in total that night/morning and my feet weren't my biggest fans come Saturday. I finally went to bed at about 6:30 am and slept until 1:30 in the afternoon. My friends Jenny, Savanna and Kayleigh and I went out for dinner at the Happy Dragon in downtown Biddeford. When we got back to the dorm we all got ready to go to the semi-formal being held at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland. It started off pretty lame because the music wasn't really loud enough and the dj wasn't playing very good music, but it picked up after about an hour, so it ended up being a pretty fun night. I wore really high heels and my feet hate me now more than they ever have after dancing in them for four hours. It was really quite painful. We left the semi around 11:30 and got back to school a little after midnight. As soon as I got back to my room I put my pajamas on, and we played Nintendo 64 in the lounge.

Sunday I worked on homework for a very long time. I had two papers due on Monday. One for English that had to be 5-7 pages and the other for Music Appreciation that was 1-2 pages. I went to brunch at 12:15 and when I got back I worked on my english paper as much as I could. We went to dinner at 5:30 and I worked on it for the rest of the night. I went to bed, finally, at 5:15 am and got a total of two hours of sleep. I was going insane all day trying to keep my eyes open, so I went to bed around 10 last night.
