Ice Storm of 2008

Hey guys!!!
So, as most of you guys know we had a huge ice storm this week! Like 90% of York County lost power and most of them won't be getting it back till Tuesday or Wednesday...
it is crazy! It was my first ice storm and it was definitly an experience.

First, my whole floor played a huge game of hide and seek at 1am when the power went out and then after classes got cancelled we all dined in the campus center on hot dogs and pizza... for breakfast. Then, just as were were starting a marathon of card games to entertain us, we got evacuated!!! Instead of sleeping on the gym floor (which was where we were being evacuated to) I slept at my roommates house in Sanford, well we were supposed to.... after waiting over 30 minutes for gas at the one working gas station in Sanford we were told her house had no power, so we had to go to her Grandma's house, which was being run by a generater. It was actually a lot of fun their, we played games and watched House (we love House!) and then in the morning came back just in time. The power came back on and the internet, so we could all start preparing for finals again.... here is 2 pictures I got of the ice, but for some reason my camera was in black and white...

Then I have been studying non-stop. But, last night I celebrated Aubrey's birthday with some friends at Applebees, which was fun.

And now I'm off to go Christmas shopping! and then back to studying, lol.
I hope you all have safe and happy holidays!
