Spring... is near!!!!

Hey guys!
Okay so guess what? SPRING is here! YES! Haha so maybe its not here for good, but it was here for the last couple days! I even pulled out my shorts, did some spring cleaning and bought a new skirt! Look, its grass!!!! Haven’t seen that in a while…

unfortunately about 5 feet away there is this...

Unfortunately, mid-terms are also here and last week I had a paper due and this week I have like 3 tests, but it is okay, because I am only taking 12 credits so it’s not that bad.

And it is official! Spring break is 2 weeks away and for spring break I will be going to Tacoma, Washington with Habitat for Humanity! And will be seeing FORKS! (for all those who have read Twilight, or even just seen the movie).

And so what does Habitat equal? BAKESALES! In Featherman there is a kitchen on the first floor, but since I have a habit of burning everything I attempt to make (I am an awful cook, even though both of my parents are/were professional chef/bakers) I made a non-baked good. This is the recipe, but I don’t really know what they are called.

1 box of regular Chex cereal
16 ounce chocolate syrup
powdered sugar
Pour the whole box of Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl. Add chocolate syrup and mix together with a spoon or your hands. Then sprinkle about 2-3 cups of powdered sugar on top and mix together until all of it is covered with white. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

finished product:

They were actually really good too! Which is surprising for me, because I am a really bad cook! And so here are some pictures from that whole thing….

And that is where I will leave you today, ttyl!
