The Lock In and MORE!
Hey Guys!
So, a lot has been going on this week. First there was the lock in, which is this annual event, where from like 8 till midnight you get “locked in” the campus center and there is a bunch of activities to do all night. First we got free t-shirts, which were awesome (when are free t-shirts not awesome?) and there was the finals for UNE Idol, in which I tried to get some pictures:
And then we got these coconut cups (because the theme was beach/Hawaiian) which we waited forever in line for…
That would be Stu and Fuzz waiting in line.
And then the whole gym was filled with huge blow up jumping things and there was Mario-cart being played on the big screen in The Hang (the restaurant in the campus center) and there were circus guys coming and performing and toilet races (literally racing around on miniature toilets) and comedians, all night. It was really fun, but I was getting sick so I left early.
And then everyone got sick (including me), like everyone! So as we were all coughing up organs and sneezing constantly, we stayed inside and did what else but play queens (a really awesome card game)… and I don’t think I have explained this, but our floor (Featherman 2nd) is obsessed with queens, so we played all week…

And then like I said before we did something that others might call crazy, but is SO fun! Let’s let pictures explain it to you….

That's me before the suitcase, I was a little nervous... haha

Yes, we got into a suitcase (with breathing holes) and got pulled around the hall. I don’t advise others to do this, as it can probably be dangerous, but it was so much fun!!!! Haha, I had my doubts, but going around corners was just amazing!
