New Places
In case you were wondering it's still sunny in California! I love the weather out here, it is so different from home, it's like it is summer everyday. I wonder if people ever get sick of it? Well I won't find out because I'll be back in Boston right on time for the snow!
I've done a lot of really exciting things out here so far, I'll tell you about them...
I discovered this really nice hiking spot in the mountains just outside the city. It's called Runyon Canyon. I've been a couple times so far- it's a very relaxing atmosphere after a long week of work. The first time, I thought it would be easy but was really challenging- I guess I must be out of shape because there were people running right past me. It was all worth it to get to the top and see the amazing view of West Hollywood. I also had a great view of the Hollywood sign. I wish there was a place like this in Boston because I would have loved it if all of my friends could have been there with me. I think that's why it is so great that the weather is always nice here, because you don't have to adjust your schedule to the weather.

I also found out that there is a Qdoba, one of my favorite restaurants from Boston, right around the corner from my apartment. It's not the healthiest choice but I defiantly suggest going there with you friends when you get sick of pizza, there's one right on Huntington Ave, in Boston.
The best thing that I have done by far though, is gone to see the Red Sox play the Angeles in a playoff game! My boyfriend got tickets and we got to see them beat the Angeles 9-1. The seats were way up high but it was awesome to see all the Red Sox fans out here in California. I would say about a quarter of the stadium were rooting for the Red Sox. We got peanuts thrown at us every time the Red Sox got a hit and we cheered, but it was defiantly worth it. World Series?
