Halloween and Sox!
Woo! The Red Sox won the World Series! It was a great series of games! It's so much fun to be in Boston when they win! The Prudential Tower said "Go Sox" with its lights. The whole city was filled with excitement. People everywhere had Red Sox hats and shirts on. It was amazing.
After the game people went crazy. There were a lot of people outside yelling and cheering. I could hear them from my room. I was really excited about the parade. I decided that if it was in the morning or later afternoon that I was going to do a half-day at work and go see it. Then I found out it was at noon. There wasn't a way that I could go to work half day and still get enough work done, so I decided not to go to the parade. My Mom taped it for me though! Hopefully the Patriots will go to the Super Bowl and win again too! Then I'll make sure to catch that rolling rally!
Halloween was this past week too. My friend Katie came down the weekend before to visit. Katie, Seth and I decided to go to Salem on Saturday. They have "Haunted Happenings" every year. There are a lot of haunted houses, tours, museums and a carnival in Salem for the month of October. We decided to go to a few of the museums. You got a deal of $5 off if you got a combo ticket for 3 of them. It was a lot of fun. The weather cooperated with us too. It was overcast all day but it didn't rain until we were on the commuter rail train platform to go home! Talk about good timing!
Here are some fun photos of Salem!
