Fall in Love
Dear Friends,
Happy Valentine's Day! On this special day while many are consumed by thoughts of romance and gift giving. I'd like to ask that you pause and remember that there are in fact many types of love. Not the least of which includes the deep affinity or love that one has for say an institution--such as your school. We know that many high school seniors are feverishly working to narrow down consideration sets and are poised to send off college applications in the coming weeks. For some, this is a daunting and heart breaking process because it marks the end of chapter and at the same time a new beginning.
The transition to college is a big step and it's full excitement and wonder. And the best part is when you reach that "aha" moment and something inside you resonates with a particular college or university. You say to yourself "this is a good fit for me and I can definitely picture myself here."
There are those of us that can get to that point by talking to others in our families that have attended the school decades prior. Still, there are others who despite countless brochures and leaflets aren't able to make a connection without a campus visit. This is when you can experience a place with all your senses. So, right now, at this moment accept our invitation to join us for a campus tour and information session in the coming days (including President's Day). You never know. You just might fall in love with Wharton and Penn.
