Mid-April

Hey everyone,
So, let me just say that the past couple days were GORGEOUS...today was alright. haha. I would much rather the continuation of the 70 degrees and sun.
I got through 4 exams last week. I am not going to say how I did on them, just that I was able to finish all of them. This weekend I worked the Sophomore/Junior Open House for the college and today has been for schoolwork. There was a great turnout for the open house which went very well with the weather. The rain held off until the very end of the day.
Next Sunday I will be in VA with my future roommate looking at apartments. I have a feeling there will be a bit of sticker shock, but it will be a good thing to see what will be available once we graduate.
Check back soon for another update!
Have a nice day!

so...I lied...it's been a while

Alright, so here's the thing. I promised to update a while ago and I didn't. But I have a valid excuse...I'VE BEEN BUSY. So much for my final semester being a cakewalk. It has honestly been my more strenuous semester. Funny how that worked out. Anyway, so since my last update, we've gone on a Senior Class trip to Atlantic City. Don't ask me how much I lost...I don't want to talk about it. Otherwise, it was a blast.
Chelsea Clinton visited campus last Wednesday. It is great to see the political campaigns actually taking an interest in what we think...to a degree. She is a very nice person, but that was a very stressful day. My friend Lauren and I worked with the administration on planning the event and making sure everything ran well. Needless to say, it went off without a hitch.
York College hosted their first ever Relay for Life. I could not be prouder of the student of York. We raised over $46,000! 310 Spartans participated. It was unbelievable. The night was long, filled with good times, emotional moments, but in the end it was all worth it to see that we raised that much money to combat cancer. Mr. Belding from Saved by the Bell even showed up!
This week definitely isn't as exciting as last, but that doesn't mean I get to sit back. I had 1 exam today, 2 more tomorrow, and 1 of Wednesday.
I need a vacation.
"Have a nice day!"

Updating for a busy midweek

Hey everyone,
UGHHHHHH. Sometimes you get bogged down with everything and you just wanna get away. Just one of those weeks. Luckily it is getting warmer out. Spring training is in full swing, lets go METS. At the end of the month is the Senior Class trip to Atlantic City. That is gonna be a whole lot of fun. April 4th-5th is Relay for Life here at the college.
Saturday I have a competition to work for TV and that will most likely be the final shoot I work for area. But, all good things are starting to come to an end.
I know it is early, but I am currently looking for apts in the DC area for once I graduate. It is awesome to begin thinking about after college. Kind of a wake up call when you think about it.
Alright, well I guess I am a bit scatter-brained right now. Check back later in the week for another update.
Have a nice day!

busybusy

Hey,
Man it has been a very busy week. Yesterday, Senate took a total of about 4 hrs for several of us. There were a lot of important issue to discuss. I had an exam today and I have another exam tomorrow. Just because I have only a few weeks left doesn't mean I get to slack off. Work hard and follow through and good will come to you because you earn it. That is the best lesson I can give.
I sit on the Intercollegiate Athletic Board and we met this evening. I would like to say that we have some amazing student athletes here. Between the amount of community service they do, the good grades they maintain, and the impressive seasons they turn in, it is a heck of a job.
Alright everyone, check back in a few days.
Have a nice day!

Marchin' thru the semester

Hey everyone,
Today was absolutely gorgeous. It made it into the 60s and was sunny. I got a chance to throw with a couple of my roommates. I had a very relaxing winter break. I didn't go anywhere big for a getaway. But, that was in order to save some money for after graduation. Speaking of graduation, it is less than 80 days away and it still has not hit me.
The rest of the week is going to be busy with exams and whatnot. The weather is progressively getting warmer which is a beautiful thing. At the end of the month there is a trip for seniors to go to Atlantic City, so I am very pumped about that. Alright, well time to get back to studying.
Check back later in the week for another update!
Have a nice day!

Middle of February

Well, it is cold outside. Much too cold for my liking. Classes are progressing and my goodness, less than 100 days before I graduate. I need to pinch myself every time I think about that. Evening and Twilight classes were canceled today because of the weather. The senate meeting was as well. A few more weeks and senate will be over. That is something else that is very hard to believe. I'll tell ya what though, I have my job lined up upon graduation. That makes this semester feel a bit different than the others. I have an urge to move on. There are going to be things I miss, but all in all, I am ready to move on. Check back next week! Hopefully it will be warmer out.
Have a nice day!

Movin right along

Hey everyone,
The semester is forging ahead. We had the first senate meeting of the semester and I moved over to be Academic Affairs chair from Operations and Security. I've got several items on the agenda for the semester. I have a few meetings with Deans coming up in the next few days. Other than that it is business as usual. Check back next week for another update!
Have a nice day!

Well well well...the beginning of my final semester

Hey everyone,
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. The cold weather has its grasp on York, but that hasn't kept the beginning of the semester from starting off fast. We've had two days of classes and I can honestly say, it feels like we never left. I have taking Business Policy, Mgmt Information Systems, Intro to Criminal Justice, Physical Science, and Softball. So, I am keeping myself busy. On top of that I am the Academic Affairs Chair for the Student Senate, working with the Office of Student Activities and Orientation, I'm a Student Ambassador, and im a freelance cameraman. With everything going on, the semester should fly by.
Check back next week for another update!
Have a nice day!

7 semesters down.....

Well, we've come to the end of another semester and for me...that leaves 1 semester left. I'll tell you what. The day I moved into Evergreen Hall my freshman year is as vivid in my mind as yesterday. It is amazing to think back on everything that has happened over the last 3 and a half years.
Over break I am looking to relax and get some well deserved R&R. I'll come down to York a couple of times. Christmas is always fun for my family. There is laughing and good food and you can't beat that. For New Year's I'll be with my brothers and some friends. And then after a few more weeks, it will be back here to finish out my time at York.
Happy Holidays to everyone. Stay safe, be smart and have fun.
Have a nice day!

Winter Blitz

Alrighty,
So we have a week of classes left. Pardon me while I sigh with relief. This has been a very busy semester for me. Don't get me wrong, I have learned a lot and had some good times, but there is a time for everything to come to an end....Not gonna lie, the semester did FLY by.
This week, I have 2 presentations of a business plan I wrote, one is to investors and another is to a class. I have an independent study due this week, as well as an exam Friday. Yeah...no rest quite yet.
The weather is too cold for my taste. I long for the days of sunny, 80 degree weather. Oh well, soon enough I suppose.
Check back at the end of the week, see how many finals I have to take and what my plans are for break!
Have a nice day!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hey everyone,
I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Reflect on times of the past year both bad in good with the ones that you love and care for. There is nothing more important than family. They are your lifeline, your crutch, your comic relief. Whatever is going on with school or work or with friends, put that all on hold, set back and realize that in the whole scheme of things...being with family and friend, eating good food and giving a chuckle from the bottom of your belly is always going to be the most important thing.
I got back to NJ last night and got to see one of my best friends. We are lucky if we get to see each other twice a year. So, he and I, along with one of my brothers went out for a bit and got to catch up. I'm home until Sunday and then I need to kick it into overdrive to finish up the semester strong.
Once again, enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Mid-November

Heyheyhey,
So, I just got back to York from a 3 day hiatus. I was in a wedding for a very good friend of mine. Lets just say, it was a phenomenal time and I incredibly happy for the new couple. The weather has been way too col for my liking...but I tend to be very picky with weather.
This week will be much easier compared to the past few weeks.
It is Spirit Week here at York with Tuesday being Spartapalooza. I'll be getting pied in the face, and kick professors' butts in volleyball.
Friday I get to schedule classes for my final semester! Where did all the time go?????
Check back later in the week!
Have a nice day!

baby it's cold outside

So suddenly, that crisp, cool air decided to come out. This week was the first time this semester where i had to scrape ice off of my car before classes. It is nice to have the cooler weather here for now...give it 2 weeks, I'll be begging for 80 degrees and sun again.
Monday I have my presentation for my Operations Mgmt class. This is a huge presentation and there is a great deal riding on it as well. Tuesday I have an exam for the capstone course in my minor and Wednesday I have an exam in International Business.
Thursday I leave to for NJ for a wedding next weekend that I am in. I cannot wait!
Have a nice day!

Boo!

Hey everyone,
I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm sure many of you are going to Halloween parties. It is finally getting chilly out. This morning we had an open house here at the college. There was a nice turnout and the weather ended up relatively nice after an abysmal start.
This week coming up is going to be busy for me. I have a few presentations that I need to get prepared.
Please be safe this Halloween. Have fun, but use common sense.
Have a nice day!

what a week

Hey everyone
Okay, so lets just start off with the fact that I was in a car accident Tuesday. Lets just also say that insurance companies can be a pain to deal with. The accident wasn't my fault, but it is so incredibly inconvenient.
Moving right along, this was a shortened week, but felt like a 10 day week. I have an exam tomorrow (Friday) because I will not be in class on Monday. I also have a presentation to give tomorrow due to the fact that I will not be in class on Monday....UGH!
Somehow I am going to find a way home tomorrow or Saturday to take care of the vehicle situation. Monday morning, I have to go in for processing at my potential employer in Newark, NJ. I will somehow make it back to York in time for class Monday afternoon.
Alright everyone, have a great weekend!
Have a nice day!

Fall Break

Hey everyone,
So, I am writing to you as I am sitting on my couch at home in NJ. It is sunny and 65 degrees in the middle of October...uh, PERFECT. Haha, it has been nice to get a chance to relax and enjoy the company of my family and some of my friends here at home. I will be leaving tomorrow to head back to York for the short week. I'll update when I get back. Until then, enjoy the week!
Have a nice day!
